Have not been to Haps for sometime. Decided to go on a Wednesday evening thinking it would be slow. To our surprise it was packed. Shelby a server we frequently have saw us right away and welcomed us back and mentioned we had not been for some time and hoped all Was well. We ordered and the food came out within a reasonable Time, temperature appropriate and cooked to Perfection. Lynn, the manager, came and checked in with us to make sure all Was Good. Even though it was packed we received excellent timely service. We always appreciate Shelby when we are in her service section. She is personable, has great suggestions and is always smiling. Haps consistently has several app. Salad, and entree specials as well as their go too's. This dinner was exactly what we needed a relaxing well prepared and served experience where staff remembers us and are genuinely happy to see us. Thanks Haps see you next time.

Came to celebrate my sister's 27th birthday was able to snag a table for eight in the back room. A lovely establishment felt like I was dining in the back of a theater. my waitress was very sweet and on top of her shit food was to die for possibly one of the best filet mignons I've had in my life. I'm only 23 so I still have a long way to go will definitely be back thank you food God

I have always wanted to go to Haps and when it was suggested for our work safety dinner, I was excited. The ambiance was dark, quiet and made for a relaxing dinner. Our table was in the back of the restaurant, our server was friendly and attentive. We had a slight wait for our food but it was worth it. The macaroni and cheese and the mashed potatoes were huge portions and can be shared with your group. The macaroni and cheese were delicious, creamy and cheesy. The mashed potatoes were okay. The 7oz filet mignon served with green beans and a red bell pepper was visually appealing. The steak was tender, juicy, and mouthwatering. The green beans, and mashed potatoes were okay could have been more flavorful. The dipping sauce for the complimentary veggies was a delight. The desserts were shared amongst my co-workers, the s'mores bread pudding was so good, the vanilla cheesecake was good but I've had better, and the crème brûlée was satisfactory. Overall, a pleasant experience with some hits and misses in regard to the dishes served. My favorites were the center cut filet mignon 7oz, s'mores bread pudding, and the macaroni and cheese.

Came to celebrate my birthday, came in at 6pm on a Tuesday and Boy! it was packed but got lucky to get seated right away even without a reservation. We ordered prime carpaccio and grilled octopus as a starter and both were delicious For dinner we had the prime rib and filet mignon, both was cooked to order Dessert was a bit disappointing, bread pudding was bland, need more cinnamon or and something else, vanilla cream brûlée was OK, can't taste the vanilla bean either. But over all the dinner was good. Shout out to our Server Nicole who took good care of us

I have been coming here for years The Manager and staff are always accommodating Ribeye is always Phenomenal such great flavor juiciness so tender They usually have some special side dishes. That's always good with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese. I had Seabass one time it was incredible The lamb was unbeatable so delicious great specials like this veal chop that was so delicious Bread pudding that's out of this world also Drinks are perfect and strong And literally, my socks are blown off by the wine list Bon appétit from Jerry

We went to Hap's Original Steaks & Seafood in Pleasanton for my birthday dinner. What a great choice! This old-school steakhouse serves delicious food with outstanding service! We opted to sit at the bar. Carlos and Eric were excellent. They made great cocktails, answered our questions, and provided friendly service throughout the evening. We ordered various appetizers and side dishes: crab cakes, grilled artichoke, French onion soup, scalloped potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, and onions. For our mains, we ordered Prime Rib and a Bone-in Ribeye. Everything was seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

One of the nicest spots I've been to in Pleasanton. I love the entrees and I've gotten crab cakes twice and they are some of the best I've had. Little fancy and very nice inside and love it

This is one of our favorite spots to go to Happy Hour and dinner. Just yesterday we were there for our happy hour. We enjoyed a delicious cocktail and wine. We ordered crudites, followed by Prime rib sandwich and steak fries. Mind you that these are only available at the bar. My husband and I share the meal. Delicious! Carlos, the bartender, is excellent and provides great service and is very social.
